GOOSES
March 27th marks a year to the day that we started tracking these songs. This has been the first full year of devoting myself to this project - something I had been terrified of doing for so long prior. I’ve spent a lot of that time anxiously awaiting this moment, wondering how it would feel to finally put something out into the world. It’s felt so far away for so long that I kind of cast it off in my brain as an ever-moving target. Something uncatchable, an eternal “maybe someday” to work towards. This week i finally lifted my head and realized how close we are and have been overwhelmed with the excitement of beginning a new chapter.
I don’t have much else to say other than I am truly so grateful to everyone who has listened to the songs so far, come to the shows, texted or called me, been a set of ears or a pair of eyes, and most importantly been a friend to me this year. More from me soon. But for now, I submit “Gooses” from my heart to your hands. much love - ML
